Pacific City Bank Hit By Ransomware | Cyber Protection Operation Center News

AVOS Locker ransomware operators are claiming to have stolen sensitive data from Pacific City Bank.
Pacific City Bank is the third-largest bank focusing on the Korean-American community and has an estimated revenue of USD67.2 million.
The ransomware gang added Pacific City Bank to its leak site on September 4 with screenshots as proof of the hack and an insult towards the bank’s security.

The ransomware gang behind AVOS Locker is new, having started looking for affiliates a few months ago. Regardless, Acronis Cyber Protect already detects and stops their ransomware.
