Joe Silva has been hired as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Inc., a commercial real estate enterprise.
Silva will oversee all facets of the organization’s information security approach to protect employees, users and assets. His role will include threat management and oversight of security policies, procedures and preventative measures.
Prior to JLL, Silva worked at credit reporting agency and data analytics company TransUnion, where he built and led an organization responsible for cybersecurity, insider risk and product security. Silva has also held roles on the commercial side of cybersecurity and in the U.S. military and federal government, where he focused on addressing cyber threats to critical infrastructure.
